Phase Adjusting Hubs
Easy and accurate phase adjustment
How exactly does the Phas-Lok Adjusting Hubs work?
The infinitely variable adjustment option of the Phas-Lok hub enables fine adjustment of the phase ratio over the entire adjustment range (24°). Once the desired ratio has been set, the adjusting screws act like locking screws and thus secure the set and desired position.
What are the advantages of using a Phas-Lok adjusting hub?
Without the use of Phas-Lok angle adjustment hubs, the phase adjustment of machine parts requires extremely precise machining of the machine elements. The reason for this is that, for example, a tooth on a sprocket or gear is normally too coarse an adjustment and therefore offers no adjustment options.
Are other sizes/configurations of Phas-Lok adjusting hubs available?
The basic requirement for using a Phas-Lok adjusting hub is a corresponding bolt pattern that fits the adjusting hub. In addition, a bore that matches the corresponding diameter of the hub mount must be taken into account. Further details can be found in the installation instructions for the Phas-Lok adjusting hubs.
Is it possible to get customized machine elements (sprockets, pulleys, etc.) for a Phas-Lok adjusting hub from Zero-Max?
It is of course possible to obtain a fully customized solution directly from Zero-Max. Please let us know the model number of the machine element that you would like to combine with the corresponding Phas-Lok adjusting hub. We will be happy to make you an offer for a complete Phas-Lok adjusting hub with the desired machine element, e.g. a sprocket.
In which areas are Phas-Lok adjusting hubs mainly used?
Adjusting hubs are typically used in the following sectors:
- Agriculture
- Mining
- Mechanical engineering
- Special machine construction
- Material handling
- Conveyor technology
Phas-Lok phase adjustable hubs allow easy and accurate phase adjustment. Phase adjustable hubs are a reliable and precise way to mount drive elements such as sprockets on a shaft and change the phase setting. The adjustable range can be adjusted 24° degrees (+/-12 degrees) to compensate for and adjust for wear of gears, sprockets and chain length changes.
• Adjustable range 24° degrees (+/-12° degrees)
• Easy mounting and adjustment
• Versions for standard, Browning and QD bushings
• Customization possible
• Nickel-plated, stainless steel versions possible
• Maintenance-free and cost-effective solution
