Composite Disk Couplings Power Series
Higher Torque & Torsional Stiffness
Composite Disc Coupling – Power-Series

The backlash-free Composite Disc Coupling of the Power Series features a patented and innovative disc pack made of a high-performance fiber composite material. The unique disc design ensures high torsional stiffness and enables very high torques to be transmitted in a small installation space. High chemical resistance combined with a wide temperature range from -57 °C to 121 °C and electrically insulating properties make it the ideal choice for applications subject to external influences.
The new Power Series of composite disc couplings is based on the proven and reliable and tested principle of the classic Composite Disc Coupling. The new development of the Power series offers a significantly higher power density, resulting in increased transmissible torque and torsional stiffness. In addition, further hub designs and standardized adapter and flange connections have been developed, which are optimized for commercially available gearboxes, transducers, and other components.
The newly created product line is an ideal solution, especially for applications with space constraints and increased torque requirements with associated torsional stiffness.
The following areas of application are particularly well suited to the new Power series:
- Extreme motion profiles (changing speed variations)
- Start-stop conditions
- Very high torque requirements
- Reversing and indexing operation
- Reverse load situations
- Installation space restrictions
- Direct connections to flange connections
- Integration with transducers, gearboxes, and other components
